Sutherland Night Blooming Ice Plant (Stomatium sp. Sutherland form) is a choice little cold hardy Mesemb. This night bloomer comes into flower in mid-spring with fragrant yellow, bottlebrush-type flowers. During the day, you can see the fabulous silver-grey evergreen foliage that grows to form a small tight mat. An outstanding rock garden species, plant it between rocks where it will slowly spread like succulent lichen.
