The August Afternoons Bulb Extension Collection was thoughtfully designed to pair with our August Afternoons Pre-Planned Garden, extending the display with a seamless succession of color from early to late spring. It also performs beautifully on its own, offering a reliable, season-extending mix that brings early interest to any garden setting. Dutch Crocus is among the first to flower, bringing oversized blooms just as the garden begins to wake up, providing an important early source of nectar and pollen for bees and other emerging pollinators. Tulips follow in mid-spring, and Allium finishes the display with crisp white globe-shaped blooms in late spring.

Together, these bulbs do more than fill bare spots with spring color while extending the season of interest with changing bloom times, flower forms, and texture. From the first crocus flowers to the final rounded allium blooms, this collection keeps the garden feeling lively and full of movement.
