This plant enjoys a well-drained, non-clay soil in part to full sun conditions. In low elevation-hot summer locations, Sunset Glow needs afternoon shade and regular irrigation. Recommended companion plants include English lavender, Hymenoxys (Thrift-Leaf Perky Sue) and Old World Salvia such as 'May Night' and 'Caradonna'. Best suited at elevations up to 7500 feet.
